Primrose Cottage is situated in four acres of gardens and ancient woodland on the banks of the River Tamar. Located between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, nine miles from the historic Stannary Town of Tavistock and four miles south of the ancient capital of Cornwall, Launceston, yet only thirty minutes drive from the North Coast.
Built in the Eighteenth Century the Cottage was extensively extended in the 1970's and has recently undergone major sympathetic renovation to enhance the original features.
Primrose Cottage offers unique accommodation of three luxury bed and breakfast (B&B) suites with beautiful views across the Tamar valley to Lewdown. Each suite has its own private entrance, sitting room and en-suite facilities. The suites have been furnished with designer fabrics, antiques and thoughtful extra touches to provide every luxury for the visitor. A bottle of chilled white wine will be waiting to welcome you on your arrival. Sip your wine either admiring the stunning views from your sitting room or choose one of the secluded corners in the garden.

Stable - the stable provides very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The bedroom is downstairs with a staircase leading to a galleried sitting room with exposed beams and a Juliet balcony with views across the valley.![]()
Tamar - entered from an outside staircase you walk into the sitting room on the first floor of the Cottage. Furnished with Elanbach fabrics the accommodation offers a comfortable relaxing atmosphere.![]()
Garden Room - The Garden Room is on the ground floor of the Cottage entered via French doors overlooking the gardens and valley. Furnished with Sanderson prints, the rooms are light and airy.![]()
